As part of Allgo's inaugural HR Trends Ireland Reportwe asked 150 Senior HR Professionals  "How do you think your HR Department will look in 2019 compared with 2018?"

70% of HR Professionals expect to have more or a lot more new HR Projects to take on in 2019. 58% expect to implement new HR systems or technology.

One third of HR Professionals expect longer working days in their HR Department in 2019 compared to 2018.

Interestingly, only 20% have plans for outsourcing more HR tasks, and only 35% expect any increase in HR budgets for the year. Over 75% expect no increase in HR personnel from 2018.

Overall, it’s going to be a busy year, with new HR initiatives being undertaken without necessarily more staff or resources.
